Our self-catering property in Kerry, is in a quiet location in the Heritage Town of Listowel, County Kerry. Whilst situated in a town location, the property still retains a countryside feeling being right on the edge of town yet only minutes to the town centre, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, town-park, golf, pitch and putt, fishing and other amenities.
Listowel is so convenient for day trips to many places of interest, scenic and cultural, in County Cork, County Clare, County Limerick and the rest of County Kerry.

Situated in north County Kerry, Listowel is designated a Heritage Town and is twinned with Los Gatos - California, USA, with Listowel - Ontario, Canada, with Shawnee - Kansas, USA, Downpatrick - Northern Ireland and Michalowice in Poland. There are also Kerry links with Galicia in Spain.
Listowel – Lios Tuathail (Gaelic) meaning Tuathail's Ringfort was an earthen fort and has a history going back to the 12th century with the Listowel Castle and the Fitzmaurice Clan.
In July 2000, Listowel was officially designated as one of Ireland's 26 "Heritage Towns" - in part because of modern environmental and renewal works, but also because of its architectural heritage and "historic importance".
